This is Action Potential Fitness, a gym located in Edmonton that is dedicated to inclusivity and diversity. Co-owner Toni Harris is a non-binary trans masculine human who saw a lack of safe spaces for the queer and trans community, as well as issues with disability and racial diversity in traditional fitness spaces. This inspired Toni Harris and Zita Dube-Lockhart to create Action Potential Fitness , a gym where everyone is welcome and fitness is for everybody. Action Potential Fitness has worked hard to create a safe space for all, but they know that not all feedback has been positive. This serves as a reminder that the fitness industry has a responsibility to prioritize diversity and inclusion and create safe spaces for all. Watch Video

This Valentine's Day libido boosting love smoothie recipe is protein packed. Alyssa Bauman, Certified Holistic Nutritionist and CEO of Nourished, joined All Things Fitness and Wellness to share this Valentine's Day themed smoothie recipe. What You Need: 1 cup organic strawberries, frozen is fine too. 1 Frozen banana 1 tbsp Maca powder (Careful with this. Not good for kids or those with super sensitive systems. Could have espresso-like effects in some.) 1 tbsp Hemp seeds 1 tsp Chia seeds 1-2 dates, for extra sweetness. Leave out if you prefer not as sweet. 1 1/2 cups plant based milk Dried cherries (Can use Goji berries) and cacao nibs Blend together until smooth … Top with dried cherry or goji and cacao nibs. This is a great smoothie recipe to love yourself up or to show someone you care. The BBTFit Twins, Maggy and Maya Omrani of Monhnny athletic wear, are a symbol of women empowerment. On the podcast they share their journey on the All Things Fitness and Wellness podcast.
